TRITON HOLDING PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED or TRITN released information via SET that due to Lucent Energy Co.,Ltd. (Lucent) which is subsidiary of TRITON ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION PUBLIC CO., LTD. (TTEC) and that TTEC is subsidiary of the company has proceed legal action to claim deposit amount of 120,000,000 Baht on 31 January 2021 at the primary court in the court case no. Phor 510/2562 between Lucent Energy Co.,Ltd. plaintiff and Siam Renewable Energy Co.,Ltd., First defendant, Prasongtham Co.,Ltd. Second defendant, Trakulpanich Moodaharn (1991) Co.,Ltd. Third defendant, Mr. Somruek Phoomthaisong, Fourth defendant, Miss Pawimol CHaroensook, Fifth defendant, Mr. SUradech Bamroongnok, Sixth defendant, Mr. Phairoj Prasertying, Seventh defendant, Mr. Atthaporn Phengthaisong, Eight defendant and Mr. Chaloenwuth Panyasawad, Ninth defenant
On 28 November 2019 at 9.00 a.m. the primary court has already sentenced all 9 defendants to repay debts of Baht 60,000,000 to plaintiff with interests at 7.5 p.a. as from 7 April 2016. In addition, all 9 defendants must repay Baht 60,000,000 as from 22 April 2016 to plaintiff in full amount. Furthermore, all the 9 defendants have to pay court fees, lawyer fees at Baht 90,000 on behalf of plaintiff. Only court fees is considered the same amount as lawsuit funds that plaintiff won. Other requests are all waived.
The court ordered that unless all 9 defendants abide and conform to the sentences within 30 days, they will be imprisoned and all of their properties will be seized under legal action. At present, the case has yet to pass supreme court, the nine defendants can request for appeal within the timeframe allowed by law. Any other progress on this court case, the company will keep the public posted.
